Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 7 May 2026 · Effective 7 May 2026
NFTs are digital content. Once a mint transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, the token has been delivered and the sale is final. This policy explains the narrow situations in which a refund or cancellation is possible, and the steps to request one.
1. EU statutory right of withdrawal
Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU, transposed into Norwegian law), the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to digital content that is delivered immediately, where the consumer has expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right. By clicking the “Buy with card” or equivalent purchase button on https://bamnft.com, you give that consent and acknowledgement.
2. When you can cancel
An order can be cancelled, with a full refund of any captured amount, in the following circumstances:
- Before payment authorisation completes. Close the checkout window. No payment is captured, no NFT is reserved. Your order will time out automatically.
- After authorisation but before the mint is broadcast. Email help@bamnft.com with your order ID. If we have not yet submitted the mint to the blockchain we will void the authorisation and the funds will be released by your card issuer, typically within 5 business days.
Once the mint transaction is broadcast, it cannot be reversed.
3. When you are entitled to a refund
Even though the right of withdrawal does not apply, you remain entitled to a refund where the law requires one. Examples include:
- We charged your card but the mint transaction failed permanently and no NFT was delivered to your wallet.
- The token we delivered does not match the description we published at the moment of sale (wrong collection, wrong edition, wrong artwork).
- A demonstrable platform failure on our side resulted in a double- charge for the same NFT.
- The transaction is the result of fraud — your card was used without your consent and your issuer has chargeback rights.
Refunds that require the NFT to be returned are processed only after you transfer the token to a settlement wallet we designate by email. Until that transfer is confirmed on chain we are not obliged to issue the refund.
4. What we do not refund
- A change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or a decline in the secondary-market value of the NFT after purchase.
- A wallet error on your side — for example, providing an address you do not control, an address on the wrong network, or an exchange deposit address. We have no way to retrieve a token minted to such an address.
- Network fees (gas) you paid directly from your own wallet for subsequent operations. We did not collect them.
- Card-processing fees retained by our payment provider on a declined or reversed transaction.
5. How to request a refund
Email help@bamnft.com within 30 days of the order date with:
- your order ID and the email address used at checkout;
- the wallet address that received the NFT (if any);
- a short description of what went wrong and any supporting evidence (transaction hash, screenshot, error message).
We aim to respond within five business days and to resolve eligible refunds within fifteen. Approved refunds are returned through the same payment method used for the original purchase. The card- issuer’s posting time is outside our control.
6. Chargebacks
Filing a card chargeback for a successfully delivered NFT without first contacting us — and without grounds covered by section 3 — is treated as a breach of the Terms of Use. We may suspend your account, contest the chargeback with the evidence on file, and recover any costs incurred.
